Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Rice Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our rice farm. The ideal candidate will manage planting, irrigation, harvesting, labor, and ensure optimal yield through best agricultural practices. They must be knowledgeable in modern rice farming techniques and capable of leading a team to meet production goals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee all rice cultivation activities including land preparation, seeding, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
• Supervise farm workers, assign tasks, and ensure work is done efficiently and safely.
• Monitor crop progress and implement solutions for any challenges related to pests, diseases, or weather conditions.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of farm equipment and irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate records of inputs, labor, yield, and farm expenses.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers, agronomists, and buyers as needed.
• Prepare reports on farm activities and present them to management.

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rice farming or similar crop management role.
• Strong knowledge of rice cultivation techniques and farm management practices.
• Experience with mechanized farming and irrigation systems is an advantage.
• Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours, especially during planting and harvesting seasons.
• Proficiency in record keeping and basic farm budgeting.
